Orranäs Glassworks is known for glass where color and form take center stage. Creativity flows freely, and you’re welcome to step inside the newly built glassblowing studio to witness the creative process in action. Inside the studio, you’ll also find a café and a crêperie.
At Orranäs Glassworks, you also have the opportunity to try your hand at glassblowing, an activity for young and old alike.
In Orrefors, there’s actually an entire area dedicated to glass; the Orrefors Museum showcases the historic glass collection from Orrefors, spanning from the past to the present. In the gift shop, you can shop for glassware and design items. At Hammarsmedjan, you can experience the strike of the renovated bar iron hammer.
The historic industrial complex in Orrefors includes the historic Disponent’s Villa, the charming Garden Villa, and the factory pond. It is also home to Sweden’s first phytopark—featuring plants that purify soil, air, and water—a unique collaboration with Linnaeus University.
