Step into the world of the moose: hike along quiet forest trails, drive right into a wild safari park, or come face-to-face with a moose swimming at the water’s edge. Each park offers its own adventure—you choose how close you want to get.
Glasriket's Moose Park
At Glasriket’s moose park, you’ll get up close and personal with the moose in a setting that feels like it’s straight out of the heart of the forest. Right at the entrance, there’s a shop filled with moose-themed souvenirs.
There are also several barbecue areas here where you can relax. Right next door is a simple campground with electrical hookups for those who want to stay overnight in a trailer or RV.
Grönåsen Moose Park
At Grönåsen Moose Park , you can take a peaceful walk through the woods along a 1.3-kilometer loop that leads you around the moose’s large enclosure. Here, you’ll walk through tranquil natural surroundings, with a chance to see the moose at the water’s edge—sometimes they take a dip, and sometimes they stand there drinking. Along the trail, there are benches and small lookout spots where you can stop and enjoy the surroundings. On the farm grounds, you’ll also find other animals, a shop, a cozy café, and accommodations.
Kosta Safari Park
At Kostas Safari Park, you can experience the forest’s wildlife from your car window on a safari tour through a 200-hectare nature reserve. Moose roam freely here, but you may also spot everything from wild boars and fallow deer to bison, mouflon sheep, and red deer. A tour that offers excitement, beautiful nature, and something for everyone in the family to discover. You can also stay in the park in one of the beautiful glass houses or at the campground.
