Dating back to the 1960s, the hotel features unique architecture with dark wood and whitewashed walls, transporting you from the forests of Småland—with their red cottages and white gables—to a one-of-a-kind hotel inspired by Southern Europe.
Hotel Amigo & Restaurant was completed in 1963 and opened its doors with great fanfare, offering 65 single, double, and multi-bed rooms for rent. With the popular “Bodega” in the basement and a glass-roofed pool that could be viewed from the restaurant level, the hotel had a truly unique atmosphere.
The hotel offers rooms of various sizes to suit different tastes, group sizes, budgets, and needs. Each room has a private bathroom, free Wi-Fi, an in-room TV, and a small refrigerator. Most rooms have a desk and a closet, and some also have a balcony.
The hotel's restaurant is open in the evenings.
