Glasriket’s Trip Planner works in two ways. Its primary function is to provide users with a unique, personalized itinerary based on the areas of interest they’ve selected. But you can also create an itinerary entirely based on your own specific choices. So if there are any exciting places to visit near you, you can choose those. Arrange them in the order you think works best. Maybe add a stop for coffee or a meal along the way. When you’re done planning your itinerary, email it to yourself. You can use the link you receive on your own website along with images and text describing the itinerary. You can also use the link to email it to visitors who are looking for suggestions for a day trip.
Step-by-step instructions on how to create a tour tailored to your location
• Think about which nearby attractions are around you
• Go to glasriket.se and navigate to the page for each attraction. Click the “ADD TO ITINERARY PLANNER” button
• You’ll see the total number of attractions you’ve added in the upper right corner next to the Itinerary Planner icon
• When you’re done, click the Itinerary Planner icon
• On the right (for desktop; the map is located below in the mobile version), you’ll see all the attractions on a map.
• You can now rearrange the destinations in the order that works best for you; check the map to get a rough idea of how well the trip will go. Make sure there isn’t too much back-and-forth.
• Click the food icon next to the destination where you think it would be a good spot for a snack or meal.
• Select the restaurant or eatery you’d like to recommend. Click “Save.”
• Place the snack stop in the list on the left where it fits best.
• Check that everything looks good on the map.
• Click “SAVE MY CHOICES”
• Enter your own email address

• When creating your own custom trip, you’ll still need to select a vehicle and lodging options. Check any vehicle and lodging options to proceed.
