Stenhallen i Klavreström - Glasriket

The Stone Hall houses an industrial museum that showcases part of the history of the Klafrestöm Ironworks. The Stone Hall was built about 200 years ago to serve as agricultural storage, but it also included a mangle shed, a morgue, and a garage.

In the 1920s, a tennis hall was built on the second floor—the first private indoor tennis hall in Sweden. Tennis is still played there today. On one of the long walls is a 14-meter-long mural by the renowned artist Einar Jolin.

The Ironworks Museum opened just in time for the 1985 industrial holiday. It was the second ironworks museum to open in Sweden. The oldest artifacts date from the turn of the century, and there are also artifacts from the period up until the ironworks closed in 1982.
