Glass artist Morgan Persson, together with his wife Elin Persson, runs a glassworks called Persson & Persson on their farm in Ösjöbol. They produce recycled utility glass, and Morgan also creates high-quality art glass. Both can be viewed and purchased in the shop located in the old country store; with a little luck, you might even see Morgan at work with the glass.
Here, ordinary empty bottles are transformed into wine and drinking glasses. The elegant design draws on old traditions, featuring extensive cutting and engraving. Recycled glass uses only a quarter of the energy required to produce new glass—making it both eco-friendly AND luxurious.
Morgan's acclaimed art glass is exhibited throughout Sweden and around the world. It is a sophisticated craft that results in imaginative pieces.
