Kosta Boda Art Gallery - The Kingdom of Glass

Kosta Boda Art Gallery is an art gallery located in Kosta, in the heart of the Kingdom of Glass and just a stone’s throw from the glass furnaces at Kosta Glasbruk. The gallery showcases contemporary art glass with new exhibitions featuring works by our renowned designers.

Kosta Art Gallery consists of an art hall designed by Bruno Mathsson in the early 1950s. The Bruno Mathsson Hall features a glass mosaic floor made in Kosta and floor-to-ceiling windows. Tucked away at the far end is a mural by Vicke Lindstrand. The old factory office was converted into a gallery in 2014. At the Glasbaren, designed by Lena Bergström, you can relax and enjoy a cup of coffee or a cold drink.

Kosta Boda has a long tradition of producing world-class art glass, and its reputation as a creative, artistic, and innovative company has spread far beyond Sweden's borders.

Our designers are known for their artistry, their creativity, and their ability to surprise and continue to develop unique techniques in glass design. At the Kosta Boda Art Gallery, you can purchase world-class art glass.
