Orrefors Järnbruk föregick glasindustrin och var i drift 1726 – 1914. Året 2014 återinvigdes smedjan som ett levande museum. Den ideella föreningen Järngänget har efter tusentals timmar av arbete sett till att vattenhjul och maskiner åter är i drift.
