Welcome to Bergdalahyttan! Glass has been blown in Bergdala since 1889. The area is characterized by a charming industrial setting with red houses. Here, they produce both the classic “Blå kant” and exciting new art glass.
Bergdalahyttan is the only working wooden glassworks in Glasriket. As a visitor, you’re welcome to come inside to experience the authentic atmosphere and be captivated by the spectacle of the glassblowers at work with the molten glass. The glassworks features a café open during the summer, and the shop is right next door. Here, you can purchase new art and utility glass at factory prices.
