A Tour Suggestion for Saturday October 21st
From north to south, from morning to evening. We have created a ready-made tour proposal that gives you a full-day experience during the Glasriket Glöder. 10:00 – 11:00 First stop is at Carlos R. Pebaqué Design. Meet the artist and take the opportunity to shop for glass crafts at glowing discounts. 20% on the artificial glass and 50% on the remaining range.
Travel time to Kosta: 25 minutes
11:30 – 12:30 Visit Kosta Glasbruk and get really close to the glowing craft. Kosta Glasbruk is open to visitors between 10:00 and 13:00. Stepping into a warm glass cabin on an autumn day is both a cozy and exciting experience.
13:00 – 14:00 Lunch on Kosta Delicacy. Located next to the large car park. In addition to the restaurant, there is a well-stocked delicatessen and a really large gin bar. Probably Sweden's largest. Alcohol-free gin is also available, so you can end your lunch with a good gin drink regardless of whether you are the driver of the day or not.
Travel time to Målerås Glasbruk: 20 minutes
15:00 – 17:00 Glowing show at Målerås Glasbruk with masters Björn Friborg and Peter Hermansson. A show that pushes the boundaries of what can be done with the glowing glass mass.
Travel time to Little Rock Lake: 40 minutes
18:00 – 19:00 At Sweden Zipline you can go on a ghost round, combined with tip round, with really glowing prices. Or how about the 1st prize, which is a gift card with Sweden Zipline worth SEK 4,700. The ghost tour is suitable for both children and adults. Need to book in advance.
Travel time to Persson & Persson: 10 minutes
19:30 – 21:00 Food, music, light show and glassblowing at Persson & Persson. During the evening, a light show starts that lights up the darkness. Vinyl records are also played here and Morgan Persson blows glass in the glass cabin. Shop and cafe are open. Here you can also enjoy ice cream from Café Sergel, it is also possible to book plant-based alternatives.
