Meet León Patron
For eleven weeks, León is one of the team at Destination Glasriket AB.
León is studying Event Concept Development and Hospitality, at IHM Business School in Kalmar.
Now he is doing his (LIA) Apprenticeship at work with us.
León began his journey at the Hotel and Tourism program at Kungsmadskolan in Växjö. He chose that mainly because he likes to travel and experience new places around the world.
León has continued to educate himself in the hospitality industry with a focus on events and tourism. It's a broad education and you learn a lot about so many different things, says León.
What did you know about Glasriket before you met the team at Destination Glasriket?
I understood that the focus was mostly on glassworks and cabins. Now I understand that it is about so much more, there is much more to do in the Kingdom of Glass, it is exciting.
León was born 22 years ago into the hospitality industry. His family runs Don Camillo. in Kosta, part of the Kingdom of Glass. In a couple of weeks he will move in with his girlfriend in Hovmantorp, it will be an adventure in itself, Léon tells us. Leon is curious and wants to learn everything!
