A new destination has been inaugurated in the Kingdom of Glass!
The center of the Kingdom of Glass, is now officially open to visitors.
At the site, which is just outside Målerås, three of the Glasriket's municipalities Nybro, Uppvidinge and Lessebo meet, but also our two counties Kronoberg and Kalmar counties.
Mats Jonasson at Målerås Glasbruk has created two beautiful installations on the site.
Enjoy a takeaway coffee and look out over the hills from the tower. Near the plastic, you can connect to the Gråstensmon hiking trail, a pleasant round of seven kilometers.
On the opening day, we were treated to authentic Glasrikefika. TADAH coffee roastery offered Glasrikeft coffee, and to top it off, the vien got a delicious crystal cake from Målerås bistro.
